Parent Leaders
At 180 we believe strongly in the family. We know that for a young person to develop a strong and sticky faith that lasts with them beyond their high school years, parent involvement is key.
That’s why we want to make it a rewarding and fulfilling experience for our parents and adult leaders to give their time and effort in the ministry of our youth. We offer multiple ways to serve, from small group leadership to behind-the-scenes work. We invite and expect each parent to be involved in the faith life of their students.
Parent Leader Job Descriptions
We feel that there is a place where all of the adults in our church can serve in our youth ministry, no matter what your age. If these job descriptions don’t match your gifts and talents, just contact a member of the youth staff. We know there’s a place for you to serve.
Safe Sanctuary
At Dunwoody UMC, the safety of our students and our volunteers is of utmost importance. We follow the Safe Sanctuary policy of the United Methodist Church. For more info on Dunwoody UMC’s Safe Sanctuary policy and to sign up for Safe Sanctuary training, visit our webpage by clicking here.
