Welcome to Wednesday Night Supper

Eating together is one of the most important acts of the Christian community. It is at the table that we form lasting relationships and have time to speak truth into each others’ lives. Our fellowship at the table is a symbol of the great banquet to come, where Jesus will welcome his own to dine with him. So, whether you are a long time member of DUMC or have just recently joined, we invite you to join us each Wednesday for wonderful food and fellowship with friends, both old and new.

In 2009, we offered a new prepaid dinner package that was very successful. We will continue to offer this prepaid dinner package reservation program this coming year. This will be the only option for making a permanent reservation.

The pre-paid package will be broken down into (3) 12-week periods. You can pre-pay for the 12-week period and save $1.00 off the Adult and $.50 off the Child meal cost. This saves you from having to make a weekly reservation, but we would appreciate being contacted if you are unable to attend dinner for a particular week.

You can pre-pay for the dinner package via credit card online, with a check (made out to DUMC) or with cash. Checks and cash can be brought to the Wednesday Night Supper check-in desk by September 1st for the fall package.

Members will also continue to have the option of making a weekly reservation via a pew card in the sanctuary or from one of our kiosks, online, via email or via phone by noon each Monday. Please do your best to adhere to this reservation deadline so that we can place food orders promptly and prepare the correct number of meals for that particular week.

Barring emergency circumstances, members are asked to pay for any weekly reservations that are made but not honored.

Fall Dinner Package: *pay for package by 9/01/10

8/11 – 10/27 12 meals

Adult 12 @ $6.00 $72.00

Child 12 @ $3.50 $42.00

Family Maximum 12 @ $22.00 $264.00
