If you are over 50 please join us for "Living Better as Mature Christians," Thursday, March 9, 2017, 9:30 a.m. - 2:45 p.m., First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville. Keynote speaker: Rev. Dana Everhart, 8 fun and interesting workshops, and time for sharing ideas as well as resource displays.

WHO ARE PRYME TYMERS? If you are 55 or older, you are one! We welcome all seniors from Dunwoody United Methodist Church and the surrounding community to participate in as many of the Senior Ministries as possible, and to join us in any or all of our upcoming activities.

PRYME TYMERS COUNCIL

The Pryme Tymers Council is made up of representatives from each Senior Ministry of Dunwoody United Methodist Church. The Council coordinates the activities of the Senior Ministries and plans and implements educational and social events. Activities are open to all senior adults. NEW FRIENDS

We are a group of widowed friends (men and women) who enjoy each other’s company and an evening out to dinner at various restaurants on the second Friday of each month. We always welcome ‘New Friends’ to join us. SENIORCIZERS

Seniorcizers is a free, coed exercise class offered to seniors each Thursday, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. The classes are held in the aerobics room at Dunwoody United Methodist Church and are led by Jean Kennedy, a certified instructor for seniors. PALS (PERIMETER ADULT LEARNING)

pals

PALS is an interfaith organization offering a wide range of adult learning classes for adults over 50. Classes cover such subjects as current events, history, health, finance, art, travel, bridge, and more. PALS has quarterly sessions that are rotated among the Perimeter area Churches. Classes are conducted during the day, on Mondays, in eight week sessions. Registration is $40 for as many classes as you wish to take in any given session, or one day sessions are available for $7.
