Package of Hope

package-of-hopeDunwoody UMC provides “Package of Hope” the last Saturday of each month. Distributing non perishable food that will feed a family of four for several days, DUMC's goal is to make families feel welcome as they work through tough financial times to get back on their feet. In partnership with Action Ministries, DUMC would love to have you join us (to volunteer or for assistance). Upcoming dates are April 29 and May 27 in the Youth Area from 9-11a. Food Distribution

The distribution is open to anyone who finds them self in an economically difficult situation and unable to provide adequate food for his or her family. The "Package of Hope" includes non-perishable food items that will feed a family of four for several days. The goal of the church is to make families feel welcome as they work through tough financial times to get back on their feet.

Dunwoody UMC is able to do this through a partnership with Action Ministries.

We need volunteers at Dunwoody UMC from 8:30 -11:30 a.m. to set up, interact with visitors and distribute food.

ALL WHO ARE FINDING THEMSELVES IN A DIFFICULT ECONOMIC SITUATION AND ARE HAVING TROUBLE PROVIDING FOOD FOR THEIR FAMILIES ARE INVITED.
