Children in Poverty: Securing the Future Mission Study

child poverty window houseDid you know that children make up the largest population of poor persons? Our United Methodist heritage echoes and underscores the call to compassion for all God's children.

We invite you to join us for a study on poverty which recognizes that faithful and effective ministry with the poor - especially with our children - engages our hearts, heads and hands. This mission study is sponsored by the Dunwoody UMW and will be led by Rev. Kathy Brockman. Come and be part of this interactive study and learn about how some of the community agencies and groups are helping our children to secure a future. Thursday mornings, March 23 and March 30 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in the Wesley Room. All members of the congregation are invited to attend and learn about this timely issue.
