In this eight-week class,we will explore some of the myriad cultural and religious beliefs that make up the Muslim religion. We will address questions like, "Is Islam a religion of peace?", "What does the Quran say about Christians and the Bible?", "What keeps many Muslims from integrating into mainstream American society?", "What do we know about Muhammad?" and"How are the teachings of the Quran different than the teachings of the Bible?" This class will be led by Laura Powell, who is actively involved in ministry to Muslims in the Atlanta area and has ministered in over 20 countries including Afghanistan, Egypt, and Jordan.
