Who We Are:
An organized local unit of the United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
What We Do:
There are currently eleven UMW Circles at Dunwoody UMC. We represent age groups from 20-somethings through 90+ years old. Each group meets monthly to engage in fellowship, mission work, Bible study, and fun. We bring in speakers on various subjects, feed the homeless, donate time and materials to community charities, work together on global mission projects, participate in Bible studies, provide support to fellow members who are sick, grieving, or having babies, and much, much more.
How You Can Become Involved:
Check out the descriptions of the Circles listed below. If you see one you think matches your interests, call or email the chairperson and let her know you would like to visit a meeting.
