Wednesday Night Supper



Join us for Wednesday Night Supper! Dinner begins at 5:00 p.m. and ends at 6:15 p.m. If you would like to register for Wednesday Night Supper, check back for menu options. This form is updated weekly. You also have the option of emailing Debbie Collins or by phone 770-394-0675, Ext 111. Reservations are due by the end of day on the Monday before. Please do your best to adhere to this reservation deadline so there will be a meal prepared for you. Register HERE!

Preschool Choirs & Tone-Chimes meet at 4:30 p.m. and Elementary Choirs at 5:00 p.m. If you are new to choir, please click HERE to register so we know your child is coming.

Wednesday Night Church Nursery

Children of church members and visitors are welcome while parents/caregivers attend on site church activities. Reservations are not required for Wednesday evenings. Children must bring their own peanut-free dinner if they will be eating in the nursery. The church nursery is located on the first floor of the Activities Building.

Cherub Preschool Choir

Open to preschoolers ages 3 (by Jan. 1) through 4 years old. Children are introduced to singing in their “singing voice”, playing rhythm instruments, and what it means to be a choir. The children learn that through music even the youngest of God’s children can participate in worship.

Wednesday Night Kids

Kindergarten - 5th graders are invited to join us on Wednesday nights for dinner, fellowship and games as we dig deeper into our monthly Bible themes. Check in and drop off is outside the fellowship hall at the top of the stairs beginning at 5:45 p.m. Pick up at 7:00 p.m. from the Kids Suite. Celebration Choir, Carol Choir & The Choristers

Open to elementary aged children, Kindergarten through 5th grade. Children build on their musical knowledge learned in Cherub Choir while also beginning to learn how to read music. Members begin singing in parts, expand their knowledge of musical notation, and begin preparing for leadership in worship services. Special events for the year include concerts, Christmas Eve services and community outreach.

Tone Chimes Choir

This beginning choir uses tone chimes, which are similar to handbells, and is for 3rd - 5th graders. Music experience is helpful, but not required. Performances are at various services throughout the year.

Adults



Wednesdays offer several small groups to helps adults grow in their spiritual life and connect with a small, more intimate group. Many of these multi-week sessions are held in the morning and repeated in the evening to accommodate adults of all ages.

Finding Jesus in the Psalms

Barb Roose guides the reader through a meaningful encounter with the Psalms through the season of Lent. Combining an interpretation of the psalms with real life stories, the study moves through the familiar words of Psalm 23 toward the painful cries of Psalm 22 uttered by Jesus on the cross. The study includes reflections on the life of King David and the original context of the writings, along with connections between the psalms and the life and death of Jesus the Messiah. “Reasons to Stay Alive” Book Study

Join us for an enlightening 3-week book study on Matt Haig's transformative work, "Reasons to Stay Alive". This study offers a profound journey through the author's personal battle with depression and anxiety, providing invaluable insights into mental health, recovery, and the importance of hope. Over three one-hour sessions, we will delve into the heart of Haig's experiences, discussing key themes, sharing personal reflections, and exploring how his lessons can be applied in our daily lives. Tell your money where to go instead of wondering where it went! Financial Peace University is a nine-lesson class, created by Dave Ramsey Solutions, designed to help you build a budget, dump debt, grow your wealth, and leave money stress behind. Each lesson is based on biblical wisdom and common sense. Wednesdays, January 24 - March 20 (with February 14 / Ash Wednesday off), 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Young Adult Suite. Midweek Moms’ Meetup

Calling all moms! While the kids are in Wednesday night programming, take a moment for yourself. Learn and grow with other moms in one of our midweek meetups. Join us in the Kids Activity Room at 5:00 p.m. or the Fellowship Hall Nook at 6:00 p.m. (look for the signs) for a casual, drop-in session of sharing and study.

Chancel Choir Rehearsal

Adult Choir Room

The Chancel Choir is the premier musical ensemble of DUMC. In addition to singing during the Traditional Worship service on Sundays, the Chancel Choir hosts multiple performances each year, including a Christmas concert. New singers are always welcome and no audition is required.
