WHO ARE PRYME TYMERS? If you are 55 or older, you are one! We welcome all seniors from Dunwoody United Methodist Church and the surrounding community to participate in as many of the Senior Ministries as possible, and to join us in any or all of our upcoming activities.



"Pryme Tymers provides mutual Christian support, fellowship, and opportunities for service for senior members of Dunwoody United Methodist Church and the community through programs consistent with the overall mission of our church."



The Pryme Tymers Council is made up of representatives from each Senior Ministry of Dunwoody United Methodist Church. The Council coordinates the activities of the Senior Ministries and plans and implements educational and social events. Activities are open to all senior adults. We are a group of widowed friends (men and women) who enjoy each other’s company and an evening out to dinner at various restaurants on the second Friday of each month. We always welcome ‘New Friends’ to join us. Seniorcizers, a free, coed exercise class for senior adults has been in recess during the summer. It will resume Thursday, September 7 at 9:00 a.m. in the church Aerobics Room on the second floor of the Activities Building.

The one hour class is designed for all levels of senior fitness. There are low impact movements, stretching, balance and strength work. Chairs are provided for everyone as all activities can be performed sitting if preferred.

PALS is an interfaith organization offering a wide range of adult learning classes for adults over 50. Classes cover such subjects as current events, history, health, finance, art, travel, bridge, and more. PALS has quarterly sessions that are rotated among the Perimeter area Churches. Classes are conducted during the day, on Mondays, in eight week sessions. Registration is $40 for as many classes as you wish to take in any given session, or one day sessions are available for $7.
