New session beginning September 16, on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) is a 13-week peer support group led by caring adults called Safe Keepers, who help children manage grief resulting from the painful loss after divorce. Children grieve as much as their parents do after a divorce, but have a much harder time expressing their feelings. Dunwoody United Methodist offers a setting for grieving children where healing and acceptance can take place.
DC4K for ages 5-12, provides Bible-based art activities, stories, games and small group discussions designed to guide children through the grief process as they grow in their relationship with God and with their parents.
DC4K meets in room 253 on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 pm. During the same time, DivorceCare for adults meets in the Parlor.
