Creative Movement

Beginner Tumble-Roos

(4-6 yr olds) 2:45pm-3:30pm Thursdays

  • This class is a physically appropriate introduction to skill progressive gymnastics and is designed to enhance body awareness, balance, coordination, core strength and self confidence.
  • Strength, balance, and flexibility are taught while tumblers learn jumping, running, skipping, stretching, turning, rolling, cartwheels, backbends, and handstands. The balance beam, trampoline, mats and octagons are used for floor exercise.
 
Tumble-Roos

Creative Movement

(2-3 yr olds) 10:15AM - 11:00AM Thursdays

  • Parent Participation Required
  • Rolling, skipping, stretching, running, jumping, and crawling while using floor balance beam, portable trampolines, incline mats and various games are included.
  • This class is an interactive experience for parents/caregivers introducing body awareness, beginning strength, and movement skills and beginning structured social interaction with others.
  • Creative Movement teaches basic motor skills, such as balance, flexibility, and strength, while following structured directions.

Tumble-Roos/Creative Movement

(3-4 yr olds) 11:00AM - 12:15PM Thursdays

  • This class features the creative movement basics mentioned above along with more tumbling routines which further develop muscles, a sense of balance and flexibility.
  • This class is a lead into gymnastics and is designed to enhance body awareness, core strength and self-confidence.
