Jesus’s teachings were often challenging - pushing his community to expand their faith and truly reflect on their beliefs and values. This month at DUMC, we’re focusing on the gospel of Luke and digging into some of Jesus’ more perplexing utterances, the ones that cause us to ask, “What?!?” How might taking a closer look at these difficult lessons invite us to interrogate our own assumptions and actions and live a life that more closely follows Jesus Christ?
